Did you know?o According to a new study, 1 in 3 American moms are in diaper need – they struggle to provide diapers for their babies. These mothers have had cut back on food, utilities like heat or electricity, or child care in order to provide diapers. o Other basic needs like food are covered under government sponsored programs; however, moms and babies who need diapers fall into a coverage gap. And, as a result, o One in five moms in diaper need say they run out of money to purchase diapers, and o Nearly one in five moms in diaper need have extended the amount of time they leave their babies in wet or soiled disposable diapers – in extreme cases, moms have cleaned out and reused wet or soiled diapers. |
